A matched-product study of online prices for essential household goods in Venezuela. It is designed as a transparent complement to consumer inflation statistics, not an official CPI replacement.
No OECPI observation has been published.
The methodology is public, but the input history does not yet clear its continuity rules. OECPI is not part of Core VCI and no placeholder, estimate, interpolation, or rebased chart is shown.
What is the month-to-month and year-to-year change in a stable basket of essential goods available to Venezuelan households online? The closest U.S. product analogue is the MIT Billion Prices / PriceStats tradition of high-frequency online price measurement. Official CPI remains the economic benchmark.
Farmatodo

The public headline will be monthly and annual inflation, with price coverage and source contributions beside it. A level index may use the average of the first 12 complete months as 100 for calculation. That base is bookkeeping, not the claim that 2012 or any other year was economically normal.
